She has a degree in Library Science from the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí. She holds a Master’s degree in Information Science and Knowledge Management from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. Since 2001, she has been a librarian at Tecnológico de Monterrey, primarily working in the areas of technical processes and collection development. She is currently the lead specialist in Cataloging and Data Integration in the Digital Library office of the National Library Directorate at Tecnológico de Monterrey.
