Born in Mexico City, she moved to Monterrey with an ITESM Excellence Scholarship to study a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Sciences in 1989.
Once she obtained this degree with Honorable Mention, she worked as Assistant to the Technology Manager at Grupo Cydsa in Monterrey, while waiting for the start of the quarter at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she did her Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry.
Subsequently, with a scholarship from the Japanese Government, she carried out her postdoctoral research in Material Sciences at the University of Tokyo in Japan. After completing her academic journey, she decided to enter the private industry to work on the implementation and support of aerosol deodorants and antiperspirants, later focusing on the development of fabric softener formulas. Within the same company, she wanted to change areas to also change countries, and that is how she moved to the Quality and Technology Department at the Paris office in France, where she currently resides.
