Claudia Acuña is a leader with more than two decades of experience in Mexico’s urban development and housing sector, widely recognized for her ability to design and drive high-impact strategies for low-income families. She has held key positions in institutions such as the Federal Mortgage Society (Sociedad Hipotecaria Federal) and INFONAVIT, where she led the national self-built housing strategy, strengthening access to safe and sustainable housing solutions.
With a background in International Relations from ITAM and a Master’s degree in Social Policy and Planning in Developing Countries from the London School of Economics, Claudia brings together a strong technical and social perspective. She currently serves as Director of Impact Partnerships at New Story, where she promotes innovative collaborations to transform the affordable housing ecosystem in Latin America.
