Speaker

He is a Research Professor at the School of Engineering and Sciences of Tecnológico de Monterrey, currently affiliated with the Querétaro campus. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from Tecnológico de Monterrey. His research lies at the intersection of operations research, economics, statistics, and urban planning, with a particular emphasis on the use of quantitative methodologies to analyze and propose solutions to contemporary urban challenges. His research interests include transportation systems, travel behavior, sustainable mobility, and the development of decision-support tools.

Prior to joining Tecnológico de Monterrey, he served as a faculty member in the Department of Engineering Systems and Design at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). He currently holds an appointment as an Adjunct Fellow at SUTD Academy, where he contributes to master’s programs. His international experience, multidisciplinary training, and commitment to urban challenges position him as a scholar capable of delivering relevant and robust solutions for complex and dynamic cities.
