Passionate about technological development. He leads the Mobility Research Group at the School of Engineering and Sciences at Tecnológico de Monterrey, comprised of more than 40 researchers. His value lies in generating projects that provide leadership and positioning to the university. At the same time, he is a successful professor with over ten years of teaching experience in subjects related to Mechatronics Engineering. His perspective as a scientific researcher allows him to generate knowledge in applied sciences at the forefront of innovation and technological development. He loves and promotes the use of technology to create new businesses and promote the well-being of human beings.
He won two awards, "Tecnos Award 2023 and 2024," for the development of a service robot (autonomous) and for the Urban Living Lab of Shared and Autonomous Mobility in Monterrey, Mexico. He designed and launched the first laboratory of electromobility and shared autonomous vehicles at Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2022. His team will deploy Autonomous Vehicles in the first automated mobility district on public roads in Mexico by the end of 2024 and invite the sociotechnical ecosystem to drive the adoption of autonomous vehicles in Mexico.
