An AI and Scientific Machine Learning expert, has recently delved into the field of Electric Vehicle (EV) battery manufacturing. He has quickly become skilled in this field due to his extensive background in AI and machine learning, as well as his knowledge of system modeling, control, and electromagnetics. MacCleery has made two major breakthroughs in the field this year. He has focused on improving the process yield based on electrochemical analysis during production, and detecting defects in battery cells that can cause fires and explosions, which are costly to the manufacturer. MacCleery has developed two new patent-pending techniques, NI Cell Scan(TM) Electrochemistry and Defect Detection, to address these issues. These techniques provide real-time analysis of the electrochemical and structural performance of the cells during production and can detect specific defects that were previously unobservable. MacCleery's work has the potential to have a multi-billion dollar impact on the Lithium battery manufacturing industry, promoting the adoption of EVs.
