With 40 years of experience working with industry to improve outcomes, whether that be productivity, workforce wellbeing, or avoiding negative consequences from doing the right thing; she will evidence that people are the essential driver to achieve success and meet the needs of society today and in the future.
Linda leads multiple transdisciplinary teams focussed on achieving people-led solutions for industry. These include, increasing the adoption of digital tools through the centre for people-led digitalisation (P-LD) and using the outputs from P-LD to enable a just transition to Net Zero. In her talk, she will describe using specific industry examples how digitalisation can increase productivity (47% increase), decrease lead times (6 weeks to 1 week or less), create an inclusive workspace for neurodivergent individuals, and how the outputs from the transdisciplinary centre P-LD are being used to assist our partners such as Rolls Royce and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. People are at the heart of this success.
Underpinning the outputs of her research are people: a transdisciplinary team, working in a transdisciplinary manner with a common goal of creating whole life value from complex projects. Linda will show that by ensuring the needs of the individuals and wider society are met, assists in addressing the complex challenges of today. In her talk Linda will share how this has been achieved within P-LD, along with providing tips for success.
